                           Multi-Model Project 3 Hollow’s Black Death: motived violence

            In this project, Holloway explain the main points of the Black Death. In summary of the Black Death, it has several examples in Holloway’s stories relating to Black Death such as gone too soon, but one example does connect one of the main purposes of the black death. There are several examples of black death in more of tragedy event, death in diseases, and others that have impact on many of the African Americans community. Not just a death tragedy, but also having more difficult for the African Americans because of hard challenges that they may be threatened by other groups because of possibly of hate, divided community in the US (back then), and others related to race issues. On reading 2 on page 68 explain where many of the a African Americans were unexpected attack by white men that is attacking randomly. That was the nightmare history that send a shock wave to many of the African American communities and others. This result does lead to protecting any community especially African Americans against any violent groups.

            An example relating to this story is a picture that shows about two years during summer in Charleston, Virginia where in one night where one person named Dylan Roof came to church, sat there in a normal way, and then suddenly open fire at most of African American people mostly at random. That is the worst shooting this was a shocking heartbreaking and tragedy event. Many of the African Americans and others are in painful and morn of the nine victims (mostly African Americans), which is difficult to see these people passed away and how it’s difficult to ease the pain. After that shooting event, many people including African Americans, and even President Obama attend the funnel of each nine victims to remember and to give each person by rest in peace. Dylan Roof made a horrified decision to shooting rampage randomly and in a result of the hate crime. Many people even African American are worried if there are going to be a another attacked on another African American community, or even the church.
